Places to watch the Sunrise and Sunset in St George

Sunrise/Sunset Spots in St George โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ…

Now that the weather is cooling down, itโ€™s the perfect time to get out and watch Mother Nature do her thing. Here are a few easy places to watch some beautiful sunrises/sunsets! A couple of places you can even watch both!

๐ŸŒ…The Water Tower (both) – located on Red Hills Parkway across from the water district building. We love the safety of it with kids! Bring roller blades for an even more exciting time!

๐ŸŒ…Temple Springs Trail (both) – just below the water tower, this trail connects Red Hills Parkway to St George Blvd. It is a beautiful, steep walk up/down and the views are amazing!

๐ŸŒ…White Trails Hike (sunset) – an easy hike on the northern part of Snow Canyon State Park (about 2 miles total), with the prettiest views of the park itself.

๐ŸŒ…Scout Cave (sunset) – moderate hike (4 miles) – south side of snow canyon – itโ€™s a beautiful sunset once you get to the cave!

๐ŸŒ…Dixie Rock (both) – probably one of the most iconic spots to watch in St. George.

๐ŸŒ…Owenโ€™s Loop (both) – 2.7 mile hike in downtown St George. Very similar views to Dixie rock but without all the people and a little bit more of a hike! Watch the sunrise at the top of the first peak, and the sunset over by the loop.

๐ŸŒ…Paradise Rim (sunset) – whole hike is 3.5 miles, or do the Gecko trail to make it just about 1.0 with more of a steep climb. Itโ€™s beautiful at the top and so fun to watch the sunset at!
