Hikes for Kids in Snow Canyon State Park

We love hiking Snow Canyon! And it’s SO kid friendly! Here are some of our favorites to do:

Jenny’s Canyon – .3 mile hike (short walk really)

Pioneer Names – .4 mile hike

Johnson’s Canyon – 1.7 mile hike

Butterfly Rock – 1.1 mile – add it with the Lava Tubes!

Lava Tubes – 1.7 mile

Petrified Sand Dunes – 1.2 mile, but is more of a natural jungle gym

Whiterocks Amphitheater – 1.0 mile

Whiterocks Trail – 1.0 mile (if going to look out and back), 3.5 miles if doing the whole thing
Sand Dunes (play in the sand!)

Whiptail Trail – paves trail going about half way up Snow Canyon

Snow Canyon also has a Jr Ranger program that has lots of cool info about the trails you do! Be sure to pick up a pamphlet when you go next.

Which one is your favorite?!
