Canyon Park (aka Ninja Park)

This park is amazing! It has a timed 40 yard dash, as well as a timed ninja course.

Behind those are double slides to race on with ropes at the bottom to climb and a sand pit with rocks to play on as well.

I’d definitely say this park is more for kids 5+. My 3 year old just wanted to jump on everything and not wait in line to be timed. There are a few picnic tables, but it’s such a small park that if anyone is using them you feel crowded.

It’s also a heavy exertion park, so come prepared with water and snacks and try not to come when it’s 100 degrees outside (we learned the hard way during the summer 🥵). It’s hard to find on a map right now since it’s so new, but it’s right off of Washington Parkway and Telegraph, next to some brand new apartments.

It also has a trail next to it called Hell Hole that can connect you to Sullivan Park (swipe to the last picture). The connecting trails are about 1.5 miles apart. Highly recommend coming here to check it out! It’s unlike any park you’re used to!
